EPIC.LAN renews partnership with Intel for 2026
Intel will continue as headline partner.
Gaming and esports event organiser EPIC.LAN has renewed its long-standing partnership with PC hardware manufacturer Intel.
As a result of the extension, Intel will continue as the community LAN party’s headline partner for the remainder of 2026.
The renewal marks five years since EPIC.LAN first joined forces with Intel to support its esports offerings. In 2021, the two parties collaborated on VALORANT tournaments with increased prize pools.
Last year saw Intel launch a range of community-focused initiatives, which included PC giveaways, collaborations as part of Intel Gamer Days, and the recreation of the Kettering Leisure Village in Counter-Strike 2.
“We knew Intel couldn’t stay away from EPIC.LAN for long,” said Jon Winkle, Managing Director of EPIC.LAN in a release.
“It’s brilliant to see the team returning to be a part of our events for the rest of 2026 and continuing to demonstrate top of the range technology alongside our other partners as well as forging strong links with our extremely passionate and knowledgeable community.”
For the remaining EPIC.LAN events in 2026, Intel will host tech demonstrations, product giveaways, and the return of the popular Intel Community Championship. Open to attendees of all skill levels, gamers compete across a wide variety of titles to earn points and a chance to be crowned champion.
Support For UK LANs
This year has seen a resurgence in the success of UK-based gaming and esports events. DreamHack’s debut in Birmingham featured high-profile tournaments alongside a huge indie showcase, while the Royal Albert Hall played host to the Red Bull WOLOLO Londinium Age of Empires II tournament.
EPIC.LAN is a staple of the UK esports scene, attracting the country’s top esports talent for Counter-Strike and VALORANT tournaments, alongside more casual gamers looking for a place to share their passion with like-minded individuals. With Intel continuing to support the event, EPIC48 taking place from July 16th to 19th is already shaping up to be another fun weekend.
